Membership of ESDA is open to spiritual directors who are in the process of undergoing or have completed a recognised spiritual direction formation program.
There is an annual membership fee.
Membership is for a calendar year. For continuing members, renewal of membership is open following the Association Annual General Meeting, usually held in November.
Member benefits include access to a program of free half-day and subsidised full-day professional development workshops, support for your practice through peer supervision groups and a large network of South Australian spiritual directors, as well as in-house referrals for pilgrims seeking accompaniment.
